Thought I'd post my current findings associated with the use of SPB's Kiosk and Clone software on the HTC P6300 Panda. We have a large scale rollout of 2500 device's which need to locked down to a limited number of applications and need to recover from a hard reset out in the field. Initialy the idea of a locked down ROM was pitched until it landed on my desk and so I naturally slapped it back into the realms of reality. I knew about SPB's offering but had not used it in anger yet having used Sprite Clone and kiosk before. What I have found is that the current version of SPB's kiosk and clone software don't work together unless you have a link to the clone application in the Kiosk switcher application. Of course you'd never want users to access this so SPB are currently kindly working on solving this little problem for us. I'll report back as soon as I have fix ready. I just hope its ready in time for our rollout, usual stuff etc.
