Microsoft have announced the release of Windows Mobile 6.1, an update to the Windows Mobile 6 platform. Improvements incldue a new version of Internet Explorer, a revamped Home Screen, revised WiFi connection manager and SMS message filtering options. Please note that this update is not available for download, the manufacturer of the Windows Mobile device will choose to release the update in a ROM update which will need to be applied to the device.
