In case you weren't aware, this week Barcelona is playing host to the Mobile World Congress 2008 - a showcase for all of the manufacturers, operators and other players in the arena of mobile communications. Ericsson have already announced that they will be releasing a Windows Mobile device, called the Xperia X1, now it is RIM's turn - Reasearch In Motion, the company behind the Blackberry.
One of the announcements is a remote stereo gateway for Blackberry devices, see more information about this news release at the Electronista web site here:

The second announcement is a version of the Blackberry push email service for the home user, called Unite Server. Installed on the home user's always-on home PC, the Blackberry handheld connects directly to the user's PC rather than via RIM's own network infrastructure.
